I’ve said it before, but still- Asia, or China in particular, loves progress. Things literally get built and broken down in the space of a year.
Be it for expansion or asthetic purposes, nothing is ever permanent.
Case in point, this picture.

Snapped in an old housing district, next to some abandoned railway tracks, a lone car carcass stands. The lot just behind it is baren- all those standing houses are long gone.
Just behind that, a brand new apartment complex -aptly named “Modern City”-stands, a 22 story giant, bulit in the debris of the past.
All those peoples’ lives, stories and memories, gone, and nothing to show for it but some highrise estates.

The walls are getting higher.
