Morning Rhythm.

The temple looking structure in the distance is the Drum Tower of Xi’an. Erected in 1380, it was stocked with a massive drum, struck at dawn and dusk, to signal the starting and ending of each day.
Along the upper floor lies a hall which hangs many large drums. Each was decorated with intrinsic and beautiful Chinese writing, which symbolises good fortune.
It really does add to the aesthetic of this diverse city.
