All the Leaves are Brown.

And the sky is grey. It’s cold, but not that cold. The windchill drops the temp by a good 5-6 Celsius, making it appear colder than it actually is.
The trees are almost completely bare now as well. You’d look at it and think it to be dead. If a person had no knowledge of the seasons, he would say that this is unrecoverable, and that this tree had past its expiration date. It’s insane how for almost a quarter of the year, half of the world basically goes to sleep. The birds migrate south, the creepy crawlies are underground, the bears are in hibernation and the plants are in pause. It’s phenomenal, the design of The Creator.
I actually really like winter. Growing up near the equator meant that we only got 2 seasons- hot and abundantly hot. The heat is not fun to deal with. Whereas in winter you can always add on the layers, in summer there reaches a point where you start wondering if the deep freezer could theoretically hold the weight of a grown adult man.
The only points of contemption i do have with the winter season is the shortness of the daylight hours. 10 hours of sun just ain’t enough to go around. But, I digress. Autumn is hella pretty anyways, might as well enjoy the toasted bagel looking trees for just a little longer.
