The Innocence is in the eyes.

Probably the most universally loved mammal (including humans), the panda bear is one of the most fascinating creatures to observe up close. The sheer size and majesty of this beast is honestly breathtaking. From the outset, it’s immediately apparent how dazzling these creatures are. The brilliant white complimenting the sheen of the black. The black accented ears. The deep, shade accentuating the eyes- a feature emulated by generations of teenage girls around the world. Captivating, more that beautiful.

What most tend to forget, is that this is in fact a bear, a vicious, dangerous creature, evolved to not give a damn. Evolved to eat, sleep rinse and repeat. Had it not been for human intervention, the Panda would probably have become extinct. Like many other beautiful beast before it, it would be lost to the scrolls of time, a distant memory, scribbled down in a textbook one the shelf of a library, a lost treasure, likes of which the world would never see again.
And it’s happening right now, to the less visually appealing creation of this earth. We are the cause, yet no one bats an eye. We need to be the solution.

We are the architects of our own demise.
