Reversal Descent

Self progress.
The greatest gift to one’s self.
To work, to build to improve, to develop.
To change for the better, to achieve a greater good.
It’s a journey of self-discovery. To find, to acknowledge, to self rectify.
Progress is hard. To insinuate a change, means breaking free of those desires, those things that hold you down. These whims, these desires are chains; heavy, weighty chains. But these chains don’t conform to the norms of physics, no. These chains are like spider webs; they are sticky; they trap you with even the slightest of touches. These chains are like rubber bands, the further away you run, the minute you let go; you rebound even harder.
These chains appear sweet, but leave a terrible, putrid aftertaste.
These chains weigh heavy on the soul. And we must go about destroying it, link by link.

You’ll falter, you’ll fail. You’ll waiver, you’ll falter. The true mark of progress is how you regroup and reset, and how you continue on your quest for ascension. Yes, it will take time, yes you’ll think it’s not worth the effort, but this is but the deception of the short term. Think about the bigger picture, the greater goal.
Short term sacrifice, long term gain. Little by little, step by step, slowly but surely.
Eventually, everything will fall into place; it always does. With faith, true faith, perseverance, and pure intention, there is not even a possibility of failure. It takes time. Changes start small. Make that U-turn, find yourself, and start building.
